We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager -- Mergers & Acquisitions to join our GBS M&A Integration Management Office (IMO) Team. The position is a critical part of the IMO Team, focusing on optimizing internal systems and data analytics to support GBS mergers and acquisitions. This position offers excellent opportunities for development, growth, and career progression. The role is accountable to the Onshore IMO Portfolio Manager, working on both regular and ad-hoc activities while closely collaborating with other IMO Team members (Onshore and Offshore). You should have a strong background in project management and data analysis, with expertise in using project management applications and the Microsoft Office suite. You will be able to work independently to meet agreed timelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues, and researching innovative solutions for discussion and implementation. You will have a keen eye for detail and accuracy and enjoy working on a variety of complex activities. You are willing to work in a virtual team across multiple locations and enjoy interacting with diverse stakeholders across the organization. Your ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships will be key to your success in this role. This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in project management, technology integration, or data analysis.
  • Proficiency in PlanView, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in designing and implementing workflows and standard operating procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Working knowledge of AI technologies and a willingness to learn and apply AI solutions to M&A programs.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing data, resources, and project documentation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the financial services or insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with additional project management software such as Microsoft Project, Easy Projects, and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support and training for current project management tools, such as PlanView.
  • Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning, and assist with resource management, including database updates and resource attribute management.
  • Design and implement efficient workflows and standard operating procedures to streamline integration processes.
  • Act as the in-house data analyst, utilizing advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint and Power BI to generate insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Lead or assist in running governance activities to maximize value from projects and programs.
  • Conduct training sessions for program managers and facilitate new hire onboarding and terminations within project management systems.
  • Explore and implement AI solutions to enhance M&A IMO programs and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for technology use within the IMO.
