About The Position

The Project Manager for Planning, Design, and Construction at California State University, Fresno, is responsible for independently directing, managing, and overseeing both minor and major construction projects from inception to closeout. This role involves managing project documentation, budget development, construction bid processes, project scheduling, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will coordinate campus and outside agency reviews of design and construction documents, making necessary revisions to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Three years of experience in project management, architectural or engineering planning and design work.
• Experience leading and supervising the work of others, including project consultant teams.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations related to construction and design.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within the California State University system or a public works agency.
• Professional license in Architecture and/or Engineering (or working towards).
• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification.
• Experience with Design/Build and CM@Risk construction delivery methods.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and web-based project management applications.
