About The Position

The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking an experience Project Manager – Permanent Displays to support our Marlton, NJ facility. This role is critical in managing all aspects of permanent display projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and profitability are consistently met. The Project Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of display projects, coordinating across development, production, shipping, and invoicing stages. This individual will act as the primary liaison between internal teams and sales, ensuring client expectations are met and projects remain profitable by managing cost and scope changes effectively. The Royal Group’s mission is to provide value-added solutions to the most demanding customers.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience, preferably in retail or permanent displays.
  • Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, FOCUS).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, sales reports, and technical documentation.
  • Strong mathematical Skills for cost analysis, profit calculations, and rations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities in dynamic environments.
  • Leadership qualities including time management, crisis resolution, and professional representation.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in the Permanent Display Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with overseas manufacturing.
  • Occasional air travel to the manufacturing sites.
  • Support training initiatives for project managers on advance display projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of permanent display projects, from initiation to final delivery.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinate with Development, Production, Shipping, and Invoicing teams for seamless execution.
  • Implement and enforce quality control processes across internal and external manufacturers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales regarding project status and client expectations.
  • Communicate critical project updates to Sales to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Monitor project budgets and profit margins; ensure accurate cost estimates and manage scope changes.
  • Provide guidance and training to other project managers on complex display programs.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment while adhering to established chain of command.
