Project Manager/Owner's Representative-General Construction
About The Position
The Project Manager / Owner’s Representative will serve as the owner’s on-site advocate and project leader , to ensure that construction projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The company partners with third-party general contractors to build their developments, and this role will act as the daily eyes and ears for the ownership team , protecting the company’s investment and ensuring project execution aligns with development goals. Key responsibilities include oversight across preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, and construction execution , while maintaining strong communication between ownership, contractors, and consultants. This role will focus on ground-up multifamily residential projects ranging from 160–200 units , with attractive design and finish levels.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience managing ground-up multifamily residential construction
- Experience working with developers, ownership groups, or as an owner’s representative is strongly preferred from either the general contractor or owner/developer side.
- Must be local to or within commuting distance of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Ability to visit job sites throughout Southeast Florida and Central Florida
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required
