About The Position

As Project Manager in Operational Excellence, you will lead strategic initiatives that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize capital investments across our Business. This role combines Lean methodologies, digital tools, and robust project management practices to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of CAPEX projects-from business case development through execution and post-implementation review-ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial targets.You will lead cross-functional project teams, focus on Continuous improvement, manage high-impact CAPEX initiatives, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. Your day will involve close collaboration with operations, facilities, engineering, finance, quality and EHS to prioritize investments, mitigate risks, and track progress across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification or MBA preferred.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Proven experience managing CAPEX projects ideally in a manufacturing or energy environment.
  • Strong understanding of capital planning, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Robust knowledge of Lean methodologies and operational excellence frameworks.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner, etc..) and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end- to -end CAPEX projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop and implement business strategies and investment plans to improve operational efficiency and asset utilization.
  • Support Lean transformation initiatives across CAPEX and OPEX domains using tools like Value Stream Mapping, Layout optimization and Material flow.
  • Utilize digital platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) to create real-time dashboards for project tracking and capital performance.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements in all capital projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and controlling teams to forecast, monitor, and report on capital expenditures and project ROI.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between project execution and strategic business goals
