About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Manager for our NDE division in Bloomington, MN. Responsibilities Develop scopes of work, prepare proposals, project set-up, process contracts, and generate NDE project documentation for field and laboratory staff. Communicate proficiently with clients and internal staff to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction. Assist Project Accountant team in invoicing projects and collections as needed. Manage routine to complex NDE projects including project scope, schedule, budget, and safety. Work independently on specific assignments with senior review. Assist in quality review and/or audits of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects. Work with leadership and other regional operations to effectively coordinate field staff, share resources, and manage workloads. Work with leadership, other stakeholders, and field/lab staff to ensure specifications are followed. Work closely with Senior Manager and other stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded. Assist Senior Manager and other leadership in developing business goals and objectives. Support client relationships to effectively achieve market sector goals and strategies. As needed, perform various field testing and observations. As needed, assist field operations with technician training and review. Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong organization and customer service skills.
  • Ability to exceed client expectations while thriving in a time critical / dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Proficient user of business systems (exact software unimportant) and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.
  • Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets.
  • Two-year degree in NDE or related field preferred.
  • Five years of NDE testing service experience required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to client and project locations on an as-needed basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with large scale NDE projects preferred.
  • Experience working in a NDE service firm strongly preferred.
