About The Position

Guy M Turner Inc is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to plan, manage, and execute industrial projects involving heavy machinery and equipment. This role requires applying engineering principles in real-world field conditions and owning projects from planning through execution. This is not a desk-only role. The position requires hands-on planning, problem-solving, coordination with field crews, and direct involvement in project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a heavy STEM-related field
• Experience in engineering and/or project-based environments
• Strong mechanical, problem-solving, and planning skills
• Comfortable working in both office and field settings

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute industrial projects from start to finish
• Develop scopes, schedules, and cost estimates
• Coordinate equipment, labor, and subcontractors
• Apply engineering skills to solve mechanical, structural, and logistical challenges
• Work directly with field crews during execution
• Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, safety, and cost objectives
