About The Position

You’ll join the Communities + New Initiatives (CaNI) sector, dedicated to developing and executing integrated strategies that center community and customer needs. CaNI manages cross-program initiatives, pilots, and processes (i.e. Measure Development), to drive innovation and equity in energy programs. The team collaborates across Energy Trust sectors and external partners to deliver solutions that reflect evolving community priorities. As Energy Trust expands its portfolio of prescriptive and semi-prescriptive measures to advance our Multiyear Plan goals, the complexity and volume of measure development work has grown significantly. To maintain rigor and operational effieciency, Energy Trust identified the need for a dedicated project manager to support the Measure Development Manager in overseeing the overall process and execution of process improvements, including project management tools. This includes coordinating Measure Development team members, reporting on progress, and managing specific requests and projects to ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and propelling Multiyear Plan objectives forward. The role enables the Measure Development Manager to focus on adaptive management and strategic oversight while the project manager manages day-to-day execution and coordination. The Project Manager, Measure Development – Energy Programs will serve as the primary project management resource for the measure development portfolio. The measure development is the structured process of creating and validating energy efficiency measures that are used within our energy program. These measures can be a type of equipment, material, or behavior that Energy Trust financially incentivizes that is proven to save electricity or natural gas, such as attic insulation or efficient heat pumps. In this role, the Project Manager will oversee day-to-day project tracking in Asana to support the ongoing development, review, and approval of measures. This work will advance both new and existing measures used across Energy Trust programs. The position will also support the Measure Development Manager in implementing strategic initiatives outlined in the Energy Trust Multi-Year Plan. These may include developing offers for specific communities, tailoring measures and offers for priority customers, supporting locational efforts such as Targeted Load Management (TLM), and contributing to measures that enable complementary or external funding opportunities. This individual reports to the Sr. Program Manager – Communities + New Initiatives. This is a matrixed role, and the individual will have regular check-ins and feedback from the Measure Development Manager, who leads the work in the measure development portfolio and who also works in the Communities + New Initiatives sector. In addition to working closely with the Measure Development Manager, this role will collaborate with Energy Trust’s Planning and Evaluation team, Energy Trust Program Managers, Project Managers, and its 3rd party contractors.
