About The Position
Project Manager - Electrical & Lighting ABM Electrical & Lighting is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead electrical and lighting projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while meeting ABM's quality and customer service standards. Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial electrical, lighting, or mechanical contracting
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with budget and schedule accountability
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage financial and operational data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High School Diploma or GED required
Nice To Haves
- experience with SmartSheets and SnapCount preferred
- additional education or certifications a plus
- Lighting project experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical and lighting projects, from kickoff through closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Coordinate labor, materials, subcontractors, and site activities to meet project timelines
- Track project performance and proactively address risks, changes, and issues
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable activities to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and applicable codes
- Provide clear project status updates and maintain accurate project documentation
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes and customer experience
