About The Position

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager and licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to lead complex building projects from concept through completion. You’ll combine technical expertise, hands-on project leadership, and strong communication to deliver successful outcomes across multidisciplinary teams. Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, or higher education is highly preferred. As a Project Manager at Glumac you will lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery — from proposal and fee development to final execution — ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and technical quality. You will serve as the primary client contact, coordinate internal engineering and accounting resources, drive project financial and technical success, and provide fully coordinated designs. Candidates should bring strong discipline-specific technical expertise (mechanical or electrical), leadership and client management skills, and participate in training and mentoring of designers. You will also support business development, assist with proposal responses, and contribute to industry engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field is required.
  • 10+ years of previous experience within the AEC industry with a consulting engineering or A/E firm is required.
  • Current California Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • WELL Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multidisciplinary project delivery from proposal and fee development through final execution.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients and manage client expectations.
  • Coordinate internal teams across engineering and accounting to deliver fully coordinated designs.
  • Ensure projects meet client requirements, budget goals, and technical standards.
  • Provide technical leadership in mechanical or electrical engineering for complex building systems.
  • Mentor and train designers within your discipline.
  • Support business development and assist in preparing proposal responses.
  • Represent the firm in client and industry engagements to support project and business growth.
