What This Role Is The Project Manager - Legal Operations is a key execution partner within the Legal team, responsible for driving structured delivery across legal and enterprise risk initiatives. This role ensures that projects are planned thoughtfully, risks are proactively identified, and cross-functional stakeholders remain aligned from kickoff through completion. You will independently manage moderately complex projects with defined scope, applying strong project discipline and risk awareness while partnering closely with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and other internal teams. You’ll bring clarity to ambiguity, create operational rigor, and help scale Legal Operations as a strategic business function. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing project manager who is ready to take ownership, strengthen enterprise risk exposure, and grow within a high-visibility legal environment. What This Role Isn’t This is not an administrative coordination role limited to tracking action items. You are accountable for driving projects forward and ensuring successful delivery within your scope. It is not a legal advisory position. While you will work closely with attorneys and compliance professionals, you will not provide legal counsel. It is also not a strategic risk leadership role. You will support and operationalize enterprise risk frameworks rather than define company-wide risk strategy. What You’ll Bring to the Table You bring strong organizational discipline and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail. You are comfortable owning moderately scoped projects from start to finish, proactively identifying risks and solving problems before they escalate. You communicate clearly and confidently with cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex topics into actionable next steps. You operate with a structured, process-oriented mindset while remaining adaptable in fast-paced environments. You are naturally curious about how systems and processes can be improved, and you approach risk not as an obstacle but as something to be thoughtfully assessed and managed. Above all, you demonstrate accountability, follow-through, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
