Glengate is actively seeking team players to join our award-winning Pool & Landscape Construction division. We are landscape architects, contractors, and service providers who specialize in high-end residential properties and estates within Fairfield County, Connecticut, and Westchester County, New York. This is a high profile position requiring a self-motivated, multifaceted landscape professional with the knowledge and desire to create landscapes of exceptional quality and mechanical integrity.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager overseeing Masonry, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, and Landscaping construction.
  • General knowledge of pool construction, landscape masonry, lighting, grading and drainage, irrigation, carpentry structures, and plant and hardscape design.
  • Proven success managing residential and/or commercial projects of $250k+.
  • Strong cost management skills (tracking estimated vs. actual hours, subcontractor scopes, and costs).
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with high-level clients.
  • Knowledge and experience with Aspire software, MS Project, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee large landscape construction projects with an annual budget of $2.5 to $3 million.
  • Manage multiple jobs in different stages of planning and development.
  • Conduct comprehensive plan reviews and accurate job costing.
  • Schedule in-house labor and manage timesheets.
  • Work closely with in-house labor resources, material suppliers, and subcontractors to expedite all phases of the contract.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and direct subcontractors in the execution of their scopes of work.
  • Corroborate all client billing statements and vendor invoices.
  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the construction period and beyond.
