Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in landscape construction, Project Management, Horticulture, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in project management within the landscaping, construction, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with clients, team members, and vendors.
  • Budgeting and cost-control experience, with a track record of delivering profitable projects.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, site plans, and technical documents.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of landscape construction projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Collaborate with designers, consultants, and clients to develop clear project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and manage crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and timely execution.
  • Oversee procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
  • Track progress, identify potential delays or obstacles, and proactively resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the project.
  • Monitor job costs, approve invoices, and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed on all job sites and that all projects meet compliance and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct on-site walkthroughs to inspect workmanship, provide direction, and ensure adherence to design and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the estimating and sales teams to review project proposals and support pre-construction planning.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, change orders, daily reports, and communication logs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead efforts to enhance efficiency and client experience.
  • Represent Lowney's Landscaping in a professional and positive manner at all times, upholding our commitment to quality and service.
