Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Project Manager for K12 bond program. Provide oversight of all phases of a project - predesign management, procurement, construction, closeout and warranty. Review of design team proposals, design and construction guidelines, schedules, project documentation including RFIs, ASIs for compliance with contract documents. Provide on-site quality assurance of work. Will provide onsite project leadership to designers, contractors, and other vendors. Performs other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science/Management, Architecture or Engineering is preferred. Other degrees may be acceptable with applicable experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager; experience with facility or institutional projects strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Knowledge of design-phase management, building codes, and permitting agencies.
- Proficiency in project controls, scheduling, estimating, cost management, and documentation.
- Experience with K12 projects (renovations and new buildings) is required.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally.
- Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, project management information systems (PMIS) and Bluebeam.
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), registration as a Professional Engineer (PE or EIT) or registered Architect (RA) is desired, but not required.
