Cambia is seeking a Project Manager IV for a hybrid opportunity within Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah. This role involves managing large-scale, highly complex projects or multiple related projects while overseeing all aspects including scope, costs, timing, and risk mitigation. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with management to ensure successful project delivery that meets departmental standards, all in service of creating a person-focused health care experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving others and learning new things, along with experience in managing complex, multi-faceted projects with changing requirements and tight deadlines.

  • Responsible for end-to-end project delivery through effective planning, scope management, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication for complex IT programs worth $10-15 million annually.
  • Plans, coordinates, monitors and implements very complex IT programs while maintaining efficiency in scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment to meet organizational goals.
  • Ensures project integration and adjusts scope, timing, and budgets based on business needs while tracking key milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers.
  • Communicates program strategy, direction and changes to IT leadership, business leadership, and IT Business Consultants while serving as primary interface with project sponsors.
  • Provides team leadership by assembling project teams, assigning responsibilities, identifying resources, and providing guidance while managing overall project plans and status reporting.
  • Manages inter-project dependencies and coordinates activities of multiple project managers while developing business case documentation and ROI justifications.
  • Mentors and develops project management skills in others while proactively recommending cost-effective solutions and optimizing executive sponsor engagement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in project and/or program management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in supervisory/management role preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools with experience leading large-scale, concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, change management, client management, risk management, and resource management within complex project environments.
  • Proven success establishing deliverables, meeting budget/timeline targets, and managing project variances effectively.
  • Experience working proactively with business sponsors to identify solutions and develop contingency planning for risk factors.
  • Demonstrated success mentoring and developing project management skills in others while operating effectively in matrixed organizations.
  • Experience with multiple software development lifecycles and expertise in automated project management software tools.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven skills in motivating teams, problem-solving, and generating creative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to negotiate for resources, generate consensus, and work effectively in fast-paced, multi-priority environments.
