RESPONSIBILITIES Leads both technical and non-technical aspects of projects, driving execution across cross-functional teams. Plans, schedules, and ensures timely completion of projects, proactively managing risks and dependencies. Monitors project progress and quality, drives resolution of issues, and ensures delivery commitments are met. Operates independently with minimal oversight, taking ownership of outcomes and navigating ambiguity effectively. Leads cross-functional teams without direct authority, influencing stakeholders and driving accountability across the organization. Builds strong relationships with Information Technology teams, business partners, and vendors to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Assembles project teams and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project. Owns project financials including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control, ensuring alignment with funding approvals and capital and expense tracking. Provides accurate financial and delivery forecasts, clearly communicating variances, risks, and trade-offs to leadership. Makes informed trade-off decisions related to scope, schedule, and cost, escalating only when necessary. Drives standardization and continuous improvement of PMO practices, including processes, tools, governance, and reporting consistency. QUALIFICATIONS Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 13–15 years of relevant experience. Recognized as a subject matter expert, providing strategic direction and guidance within area of specialization. Demonstrated ability to lead complex, large-scale, and transformational programs with enterprise-wide impact. Strong understanding of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure planning, and cost management. Proven ability to influence senior leadership and contribute to key organizational decisions. Experience defining program/project standards, objectives, and success measures. Familiarity with applying AI, data, or automation to improve project delivery, reporting, or operational efficiency is a plus.
