We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with 5-7 years of hands-on experience leading global technology projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and a proven track record of transitioning into project management roles. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience managing global IT projects, preferably in financial services or related industries.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in:
- Linux and Windows system administration and upgrades
- Citrix administration and upgrades
- Networking (LAN/WAN)
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware Cloud (VMC)
- Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Experience transitioning workloads to hybrid/public cloud environments.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Confluence, ServiceNow).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in high-pressure environments.
- Experience working in remote and distributed teams.
Nice To Haves
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience in banking, hedge funds, asset management, or investment banking.
- Knowledge of ITIL or service management frameworks.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
- Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of global IT infrastructure and cloud projects.
- Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, track progress, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure alignment with business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
