The individual will serve as the Master Scheduler responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing a comprehensive Microsoft Project schedule for a complex, high-visibility, initiative. The scheduler ensures alignment across business, architecture, policy, stakeholder engagement, strategy, and governance functions required for successful implementation and launch. The scheduler creates and provides standard and custom schedule views and reporting for different stakeholder groups (business, technical, external, executive) to support decision-making, risk management, status communication, and ultimate delivery of project outcomes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 40% Schedule Development and Maintenance - Build and maintain the master scheduler in Microsoft Project. Incorporate inputs from multiple workstreams into a single integrated schedule. Establish and maintain dependencies, milestones, critical paths, baselines, and task status. Facilitate discussions required to progressively elaborate schedule details. 25% Schedule Analysis and Reporting - Track progress against baseline schedule and highlight variances. Perform "what-if " analysis to evaluate impacts of changes or risks 20% Stakeholder Engagement and Communication - Facilitate schedule reviews with project manager, business/technical leads, and leadership. Collaborate across teams to gather updates and validate assumptions. Create standard and custom reports to meet stakeholder communication needs. 15% Governance and risk support - Ensure schedule activities align with program governance requirements. Maintain version control and document changes. Support schedule risk management and mitigation planning.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business or related field
  • 5 years experience with project scheduling with Microsoft Project
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment
  • Project planning and life cycle development.
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or Microsoft Project Certifications
