Summary: This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business project. Plans, initiates, and manages moderately complex projects, serving as a liaison between business and project team. Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage, monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. May lead and guide the work of project team members and be responsible for more complex (IT) projects. The role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and operational reliability of configuration item data across infrastructure and business applications. This position combines hands-on administration—such as overseeing discovery processes, integrations, data quality controls, and stakeholder governance—with project-oriented responsibilities including leading CMDB enhancements, driving onboarding and lifecycle initiatives, and executing roadmap improvements that strengthen service visibility and ITSM outcomes. The individual partners closely with infrastructure, application, and service management teams to support change impact analysis, compliance activities, and continuous improvement efforts, while applying structured project management practices to prioritize work, track progress, and deliver measurable improvements to CMDB health and organizational service maturity.
