About The Position

ASE is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple electrical installation projects within light industrial and distribution center environments. This position manages the execution of electrical work for material handling and conveyor system installations. The Project Manager coordinates field supervisors, electricians, subcontractors, vendors, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This is a remote, home-based project management role responsible for directing field operations across multiple active job sites. The Project Manager leads field execution through supervisors and site leadership and is not required to perform hands-on installation work. This position focuses on industrial electrical construction and installation — not controls engineering, software development, or manufacturing operations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing industrial electrical installation projects
  • Background with an electrical contractor performing installation work in light industrial or distribution center environments
  • Experience managing electrical crews and/or subcontracted electricians
  • Experience with material handling systems, conveyor power installation, or warehouse buildouts
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and industrial electrical standards
  • Experience managing multiple fast-paced installation projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and installation documents

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in distribution facilities for Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar logistics clients
  • Experience with power distribution systems (480V), MCCs, panels, conduit, and cable tray installations
  • PMP certification (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with scheduling software (MS Project or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent industrial electrical installation projects
  • Oversee field supervisors and electrical crews performing installation work
  • Coordinate electrical subcontractors and ensure labor alignment with project schedules
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower forecasts, and cost tracking
  • Ensure electrical installations meet NEC and applicable industrial code requirements
  • Review and interpret electrical one-lines, layout drawings, and installation prints
  • Manage procurement, material delivery, and site logistics
  • Monitor project budgets and maintain cost control
  • Identify schedule risks and implement corrective action plans
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA compliance
  • Conduct project progress reviews and provide regular reporting
  • Support resolution of field issues impacting installation progress
