About The Position

The position involves creating project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for various projects, utilizing lessons learned from previous experiences. The role requires preparing detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and obtaining approval from both internal and external stakeholders regarding various project aspects. The individual will assess potential project risks and outline risk mitigation solutions, ensuring adherence to company and project management policies, procedures, and practices. The project manager will manage project costs and is responsible for ensuring profitability, while also identifying, quantifying, and communicating residual risks related to time and cost. Timely client billings will be created and reviewed with internal billing support, and the project manager will ensure timely client payments and follow up on outstanding invoices. The role includes reviewing and approving subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payments to outside resources. Continuous monitoring of project status and risks is essential, with the project manager identifying possible risks and recommending and implementing mitigation solutions as necessary. Change management protocols will be utilized to manage project changes, and the project manager will work closely with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to project requirements and schedules. The position also involves ensuring proper review of project scope by safety managers and implementing safety plans, responding to audit corrective actions, and providing guidance to project team members. The project manager will develop and implement a project resource plan, manage staffing, and clearly communicate project deadlines and objectives to the team. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is crucial, ensuring client satisfaction through quality project outcomes and managing client expectations. The project manager will identify opportunities for change orders and repeat business through effective project execution and collaboration with sales leaders to evaluate potential new work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
