Requirements

  • Minimum 6-8+ years’ experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects
  • PMP required, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with client approval IEEE, IEC participating member
  • Professional experience with MS Project, Primavera (P6), or equivalent project management planning tools.
  • Professional knowledge of cost management and controls, budget forecasting, demonstrated risk management and mitigation with exceptional communication skills.
  • B.S. in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with client approval

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License

Responsibilities

  • You’ll report on scope completion and scope deviations for assigned projects.
  • You’ll report on project schedules and associated timelines for deliverables.
  • You’ll report on project budgets and the effective use of available funds.
  • You’ll provide advice and recommendations on delivery methods suitable for the project(s).
  • You’ll support contractor selection and assist with preparation of contractor contracts.
  • You’ll oversee contracting and material procurement activities.
  • You’ll monitor and coordinate project schedules throughout design and construction.
  • You’ll monitor technical accuracy, efficiency, coordination, and constructability of project work.
  • You’ll ensure cost-effectiveness of designs, drawings, reports, estimates, and other required deliverables.
  • You’ll review construction documents for compliance with approved project scope and budget.
  • You’ll oversee and support design and construction quality.
  • You’ll assist with the development of design standards.
  • You’ll develop uniform standards for all aspects of project delivery.
  • You’ll provide the framework for reporting and control systems.
  • You’ll provide outreach and coordination with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • You’ll develop interface management strategies for multiple, concurrent projects.
  • You’ll perform monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and support financial management and controls.
