About The Position

Provide leadership for the districtwide implementation of artificial intelligence, professional, and digital learning initiatives that enhance teacher effectiveness and student achievement. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, standards-based professional learning experiences that integrate innovative instructional strategies and digital tools. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Campus Instructional Leadership Teams (CILT), to build sustainable systems, streamline processes, and support the district's vision for technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Lead the districtwide implementation of artificial intelligence initiatives to enhance teaching, learning, and operational efficiency aligned with district priorities. Plan, develop, and oversee the design and delivery of standards-based professional learning (face-to-face, virtual, and online) that meets federal criteria for high-quality professional development. Build and maintain a professional learning video and electronic resources library featuring district teachers and leaders, ensuring organization, accessibility, and alignment with instructional priorities. Design professional learning presentations for Campus Instructional Leadership Teams, oversee logistics, and collaborate with district and campus leaders, to integrate AI applications, digital learning tools, classroom management strategies, and innovative instructional strategies that advance educator and student success. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication to ensure coordination across curriculum, technology, and professional learning teams. Evaluate the effectiveness of digital and AI-integrated professional learning, including CILT-facilitated initiatives, using data-driven metrics to inform continuous improvement. Market professional and digital learning initiatives through memos, newsletters, and digital media to encourage participation and engagement. Remain abreast of emerging research in artificial intelligence, professional learning, and instructional best practices to inform districtwide innovation.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited university required
  • Valid Texas Teacher Certificate with required endorsements for subject and subject level preferred.
  • 10 years of experience required as a K-12 educator and experience delivering professional development in a multicultural setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with large scale project management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory, artificial intelligence, digital learning design, project management, and professional learning standards.
  • Managing digital environments, including hardware and software configurations, on a variety of platforms and devices.
  • Substantial experience leading cross functional teams on strategic districtwide initiatives.
