About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for tariff-related processes and drives efficiency across customer service operations for continuous improvement through TEOA (a get organized program similar to S5). This role ensures accurate tariff application, supports compliance, and leads initiatives to streamline workflows using continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

  • Generally requires Bachelor's degree in appropriate field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience
  • Master's degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level

Responsibilities

  • Apply and validate tariff surcharges in SAP and through manual processes
  • Investigate and resolve tariff discrepancies
  • Maintain tariff indicators (e.g., ‘T', ‘S') in SAP
  • Track impacted parts and expiration dates
  • Address inquiries on tariffs, orders, and documentation
  • Resolve issues like short pay, proof of payment, and tariff breakdowns
  • Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Global Trade, and Supply Chain on customer concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of tariff recovery activities
  • Generate reports (e.g., backlog updates, part lists)
  • Support audits and compliance checks
  • Participate in meetings to review tariff items and escalation issues
  • Help assess mitigation strategies for non-U.S. accounts
  • Use tools like TEOA to analyze and improve processes
  • Drive standardization and simplification initiatives
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure performance accountability
