About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in infrastructure or housing development field (e.g., engineering, architecture, planning, business administration, economics, finance, accounting, real estate, or construction management).
• Eight years of project management experience for large-scale infrastructure or housing projects, with at least two years in construction management.
• In-depth knowledge of the development and construction industries, including project management principles and practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide a group of development projects from planning through to construction and financing.
• Manage and coordinate project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county laws and regulations related to housing and infrastructure development.
• Collaborate with agency staff, designers, contractors, and the public to facilitate project success.
• Conduct architectural and engineering reviews and inspections as needed.
• Evaluate plans and specifications for compliance with applicable standards.
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of labor standards and construction requirements.
