This is a central university office position at Emory University. The role involves coordinating, planning, supporting, and executing enterprise-wide IT projects. The individual will provide strategic input for project plan development, budget, and scope, managing the Project Management Life Cycle from beginning to end. The position requires establishing cohesion for achieving multi-disciplinary stakeholder and project team buy-in, applying industry-accepted methodologies with a focus on Agile/Scrum delivery to ensure adherence to project management standards and requirements. The role also includes providing project management subject matter expertise to the department, mentoring PMO employees, and performing project management research to improve skills and identify trends and best practices. The individual will meet with stakeholders to validate business cases, consult with project sponsors, conduct bid sessions, interact with senior management, and apply PM tools and methodologies to ensure project milestones are achieved. The position also involves assessing risks, managing project timelines, and closing project contracts.
