  • Manage and oversee assigned construction, renovation, remodeling, and repair projects.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and standards throughout project execution.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, purchase requisitions, bids, and quotes in accordance with standard construction practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage payment processes related to projects.
  • Communicate effectively with campus and Facilities stakeholders to ensure project alignment with university goals.
  • Organize and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and significant experience in construction management.
  • Ten or more years of experience in construction project management.
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards (BOCA, NFPA, NEC, ADA).
  • Experience in building renovation, alteration, and new construction.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to all University locations.
  • Experience working in a higher education setting.
  • CAD experience.
  • Licensed Engineer or Registered Architect.
