About The Position

A Project Manager II supports and manages multiple projects or one larger project. They are responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing IT and business projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing risks, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • PMP Certification
  • 2 – 4 years of experience in project management or related roles
  • Proficiency in project management software (Jira, MS Project, Trello, Asana, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Business Analyst experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Ensure projects follow Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies as required.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Management Act as the primary point of contact between business and technical teams.
  • Facilitate meetings, status updates, and stakeholder reports.
  • Manage expectations, handle escalations, and ensure project alignment with business goals.
  • Risk & Issue Management Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project health, addressing scope creep and bottlenecks.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with IT governance standards.
  • Team Coordination & Leadership Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and business analysts.
  • Ensure team members understand their responsibilities and project goals.
  • Support resource planning and ensure project tasks are completed on time.
  • Budget & Vendor Management Track project costs and ensure financial alignment with business expectations.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and ensure contract compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned
