As a Project Manager II, you are responsible for managing a project of moderate visibility and complexity. This role will be leveraged in a Control Account Manager capacity, ensuring the Liaison Engineering group remains on schedule and budget. Under the general supervision of Program manager, this position oversees multiple projects or one larger program. In addition to the duties of a project manager I, the project manager II is responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project. The position will communicate with a Program manager regarding the status of specific projects. You will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables; identify needed resources for projects; and interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: proposal development, planning, scope, definition, design, execution, delivery, and project closeout. You will track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepare reports to stakeholders. The Project Manager will need to be agile and flexible, as changes will be certain and frequent. Experience required working in a repair station or MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Typically 4+ years of progressive experience in project management roles and/or in related or technical fields
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret
  • Experience required working in a repair station or MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul)
  • Liaison Engineering Control Account Manager
  • Experience working in a repair station or Maintenance Repair and Overhaul facility
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment
