About The Position

As a Project Manager II, you will manage projects of moderate visibility and complexity, either overseeing multiple projects or one larger project. Under the supervision of a portfolio or program manager, you will ensure the successful completion of projects by assembling teams, assigning responsibilities, and managing resources. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in project management and/or in a related or technical field.
• Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Demonstrated experience in managing a complex project with multi-function team.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills & capability to meet schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Experience managing projects requiring Earned Value Management.
• Experience serving as a Control Account Manager (CAM) or performing CAM responsibilities within a project environment
• Experience with risk management planning and documentation.
• Experience managing project scope and scope creep during project execution.
• Experience in resource planning and management during project execution.
• Experience as a project scheduler or demonstrated proficiency with project scheduling tools and techniques
• Familiarity with government contracting and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects or a larger project, overseeing all phases from proposal development to project closeout.
• Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and identify appropriate resources.
• Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Interface with internal and external customers or field-based employees on technical matters as needed.
• Communicate project status with senior project managers, functional area managers, or program managers.
• Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, and other performance indicators.
• Prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
• Ensure timely completion of projects by developing and adhering to schedules.
• Remain agile and flexible to adapt to frequent changes in project requirements or scope.
