Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4-6+ years of Project Management experience
  • Commercial HVAC industry experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in design-build or plan-and-spec project management (preferred)
  • Professional Engineering or Project Management Certificate (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications
  • Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
  • Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary
  • Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
  • Coordinate project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permitting
  • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, Project Analysis through required project documentation such as AIA
  • Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interface constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews
  • Prepare project reports for management, clients, or others
  • Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion
  • Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff
  • Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer
  • Responsible for the successful completion of the project
  • Assist Coordinator in obtaining required sub-contract Agreements or project documents required for file
