About The Position

Working within the AMS Sales team the AMS Project Manager is responsible for coordinating a variety of projects. The AMS Project Manager ensures the project scope is established and resources are properly allocated so that complete customer satisfaction is achieved, and project deliverables are met within budget in a timely manner. The AMS Project Manager load is dispatched by the AMS Manager and reviewed during daily/weekly coordination meetings.

Requirements

Must possess exceptional communication and presentation skills
Experience creating bill of materials
Knowledge of project management standards and best practices
Must possess data management skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
Customer relations management and excellent negotiation skills are critical
Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted

Responsibilities

Coordinates project activities as assigned by the AMS Manager with focus on managing schedules, budgets, risks and their mitigations
Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project work; monitors work to ensure on-time release and delivery
Understands cost accounting and risk/opportunity management
Creates and edits bill of materials
Requires regular contact with assigned project clients and equipment vendors
Participates in client/contractor meetings and resolves project management issues
Ensures project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
Implements and tracks project budgets and schedules
Effectively applies NCI methodology and enforces project standards
Other duties as assigned
