About The Position

Hill International is seeking a Project Manager II in San Diego, California Responsibilities Provide leadership for the planning, development, and implementation of medium-scale, medium complexity strategic business and technology projects. Collaborate with internal departments, stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and vendors to define requirements, assess alternatives, and present solutions to business challenges. Responsible for budget and resource planning. Serve as single point of contact for all economic and regulatory issues for the assigned projects. Develop and maintain project parameters for project requirements. Manage and coordinate all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, and design. Build business cases and project justifications.

Requirements

  • 5 to 6+ years of experience providing direct project management pertaining to construction projects: Electrical and Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil projects.
  • B.S. in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent field; equivalent experience with customer approval.
  • PMP required, Agile or other Program Management certifications, training or demonstrated experience with customer approval.
  • IEEE, IEC participating member.
  • Adept at MS Project, Primavera (P6), or equivalent project management planning tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of cost management and controls, budget forecasting, and demonstrated risk management and mitigation with exceptional communication skills.

  • PE Preferred.
