About The Position

The Project Manager II (EPMO) is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering distinct projects through all specific phases, in alignment with business and/or enterprise strategies. This role involves providing leadership, direction, and coaching to teams while partnering with business and executive stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business (LoB). The position manages projects with moderate regulatory oversight and typically leads the delivery of Tier 3 and/or Tier 4 projects with medium complexity profiles. The Project Manager may indirectly manage a cross-LoB project team consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs, and Technology resources, and may handle multiple small projects at any given time, with project time horizons generally ranging from short to medium term.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Project Management Certification required.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management practices, procedures, and principles.
  • Exposure to financial management regarding project budgets.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Experience as a change agent guiding teams through complex changes.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to foster a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver distinct projects through all specific phases.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to project teams.
  • Engage executive sponsors and stakeholders to identify and manage project outcomes.
  • Establish effective project oversight and governance bodies.
  • Communicate project status and significant changes to stakeholders.
  • Apply Organizational Change Management principles to manage the people side of change.
  • Indirectly manage a cross-LoB project team.
  • Liaise with external vendors and consultants as required.
  • Coach, lead, and mentor project team members.
  • Manage project resources and external contractors/consultants.
