JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Thoroughly understand project plans, specifications, and scopes of work. Support subcontractor pre-qualification efforts as needed. Attend pre-bid walkthroughs and assist Preconstruction during the bidding process. Review subcontractor bids for completeness and acceptability. Understand and manage Owner Contracts and the HGC Master Subcontractor Agreement (MSA). Develop and write subcontractor scopes of work for bidding and buyout. Lead or participate in subcontractor scope review meetings. Maintain and update drawings, specifications, and project information in Procore and shared drives. Request, track, and review subcontractor and supplier submittals, shop drawings, and product samples. Create, manage, and monitor procurement logs. Prepare, review, and track RFIs. Track project permits for HGC and trade subcontractors. Manage meeting agendas and prepare meeting minutes. Build and update project schedules using Phoenix scheduling software. Implement Lean standards, including weekly work plans, lookahead schedules, and pull-plan meetings. Manage all aspects of project closeout from start to finish. Collect, track, and assemble closeout documentation for clients. Manage project cost controls and report financial status to leadership. Understand and follow Viewpoint standards, including job startup and job cost setup. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years’ experience as a co-op and project engineer or equivalent
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience with Viewpoint, Procore, and Phoenix scheduling
  • Follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, company and site-specific safety policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • School construction build experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with higher education projects is a plus
