The Project Manager I is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects within scope, schedule, and budget. This role ensures alignment with organizational goals, manages resources effectively, and maintains clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be trained to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in project management within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
  • Expected to travel 15-20% of the time for site visits to suppliers and customer operations facilities.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or CAPM certification, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans for process improvements, equipment installations, and production line upgrades.
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal teams and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between plant leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular updates on project milestones and resolve issues promptly.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
  • Schedule and allocate resources effectively to minimize production disruptions.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and compliance records.
  • Prepare post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and future improvements.
