About The Position

The Project Manager I provides comprehensive project supervision and management for major programs supporting the task order for US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center; Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate.

Requirements

  • BA/BS with 5 years experience or military experience E4 and up
  • Familiar with performing integrated master scheduling (IMS).
  • Experience in the acquisition process and with strategic document management
  • TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Provide project supervision and management for major program activities.
  • Manage and direct technical project/program personnel to ensure objectives are met with top quality and levels of performance.
  • Manage large projects involving multifunctional tasking and substantial complexity.
  • Plan and supervise major system life cycle support tasks/functions including requirements definition, acquisition, integration, test and evaluation, fielding/installation, and disposition.
  • Provide program support services including, but not limited to, program management support, monitoring program technical and financial status, analyses and schedule updates, review of deliverables, and submittal of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) items.
  • Provide a Project Management Plan IAW CDRL C004, which shall include organizational structure, program management, personnel, methodology, reports, initiation monitoring, control, completion, test and verification and reporting of contractual task, projects, organizational conflicts of interest, programs and risk management to include a risk plan, tracking, mitigation, and resolution as well as other information outlined in corresponding Data Item Description document.
  • Assist the Government in the preparation of project plans and schedules, requirements, and test plans, and provide recommendations and status updates to ensure the Government Program Manager (PM) is kept current on all delays, deviations, and potential problems that could impact the outcome of the program.
  • Assist in the resolution of technical and schedule issues to minimize their impact on programs.
  • Develop, track, monitor, and control project schedules for meeting project commitments.
  • Coordinate Program Management Reviews (PMRs) to review program status and performance, identifying risks, issues and opportunities, track action items, present recommendations and suggestions for their resolution with a focus on efficiency, cost reduction, improved delivery, quality, safety, and security on an as-needed basis.
