About The Position

The Project Manager I is responsible for the management and oversight of the customer project, to include coordination of effort between the customer and applicable CivicPlus department. Must be able to complete a project scope, create a timeline, coordinate training to include preparing them for successful maintenance/operation and work with the customer/internal resources to launch a project within a specified timeline, project hours, and budget. The Project Manager I owns the “customer experience” and is responsible for facilitation of all communication through the phases of the project to ensure the successful delivery of all assigned projects. Requirements

  • 1+ years’ customer service experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Must have strong experience with and can adopt various productivity, project, and collaboration tools e.g., Microsoft Office, Sales Force/Cloud Coach, and SharePoint
  • Experience working cross-functionally between teams to solve problems and implement solutions
  • Clearly understands processes and executes with high quality
  • Understanding of local government entities, organization, and practices
  • Confident understanding of contracts, SOWs, and terminology therein and can communicate the meaning of said documentation effectively to internal and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a minimum 95%+ average Client Satisfaction
  • Ability to move project forward and meeting original timeline expectations a minimum of 60% of the time
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to team members and/or customers via written and verbal communication
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks and change control procedures
  • Ensure project quality, schedule, budgets, and deliverables meet agreed upon expectations
  • Identifies business development and “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project or customer question and sells to customer as appropriate.
  • Ability to manage small to medium sized product specific contracts
  • Confident understanding of contracts, SOWs, and terminology and can communicate meaning effectively
