About The Position

Leonardo DRS Land Systems Logistics team is seeking a full time Project Manager level I for our Bridgeton, MO facility. As a Project Manager level I at Leonardo DRS Land Systems, you will be an individual contributor responsible for leading all of the Defense Logistics and Field service teams needs related to CONUS (Contiguous United States) and OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) travel assignments, supporting the team members from the point of planning during pre-deployment, while they are deployed, through their return home. As a Project Manager, you will serve as an interface between the Defense Logistics and Field service (Management and individuals) and others, including Program Management, Trade Compliance, Project Engineering, Contracts, Finance and Human Resources, our suppliers, vendors, and our DOD (Department of Defense) customers. Responsibilities require input and support from multiple internal and external functions and organizations including our customers and suppliers and will require an individual to act independently on multiple programs at different phases of their life cycle concurrently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of functional or program management experience
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time as needed
  • Must have an intermediate level of Microsoft Office Suite skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, MS Teams
  • Experience with successful relationship building
  • Eperience proactively managing schedule requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with DOD, CRC (CONUS Replacement Center) requirements, OCONUS Immigration/work permit requirements a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily execution of specific tasks or projects within multiple complex programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines
  • Support the immigration, work permit, and visa process
  • Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to ensure that cost, schedules and performance goals are met
  • Manage operations to ensure schedules are met and deliverables meet quality standards
  • Lead all meetings and the integrated product team (kick-off through project close)
  • Organize project and task workloads
  • Contribute to our customer relationships
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
  • Additional duties as assigned
