We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a full-time clinical research project manager in a high-profile, cutting-edge clinical research program on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) under the direction of Principal Investigators Rachel Yehuda, Amy Lehrner, and Janine Flory. The project manager will be involved in research conducted by the Sinai Center for Psychedelic Psychotherapy and Trauma Research and the James J Peters VA Medical Center (Bronx). The project manager will create and execute plans for complex research projects that may include clinical trials and biological studies of PTSD. This position will include supervisory responsibility for research coordinators, and will answer to senior operations and investigative staff. The project manager will be responsible for oversight of: day to day operations of research studies, completion and maintenance of regulatory documents, facilitating project-related meetings and coordination with interdisciplinary research team. The manager will track project status and changes, notify management when issues arise, and assist with taking corrective action as needed. Current studies in the lab include: clinical trials of psychedelic-assisted therapies, generation of stem cells for in vitro investigations of molecular underpinnings of PTSD, meditation for PTSD, and the use of hydrocortisone for patients being treated in emergency departments following a traumatic experience.
