About The Position

AECOM is seeking to hire a Project Manager- Highway/Roadway to support our exciting project in San Jose, CA. The Project Manager will manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects, responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects. The role requires consistent delivery of profit margins planned and completion of projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion. The Project Manager typically manages projects involving Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) and has decision-making authority, directing other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such. The position also involves supervising and directing Project Managers with multiple projects or a program of projects.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Professional Engineer license and ability to obtain California PE within twelve months if not currently registered in California.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience reflecting progressively increasing levels of leadership and responsibility.
• Experience with business development and client relations.
• Project management experience leading small to medium sized highway projects.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
