About The Position

The Project Manager for Healthcare at HGA will play a crucial role in leading and managing various healthcare architecture projects. This position requires a design-sensitive individual who can effectively collaborate with project teams throughout all stages of design, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the architecture or engineering industry, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design processes and project management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and architectural design tools.

  • Leadership experience in managing diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Principal to evaluate project requirements and negotiate owner-architect agreements including fee, scope, and schedule.
  • Demonstrate mastery of project scope, schedule, budget, and profitability to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage multiple projects and associated client relationships effectively.
  • Negotiate critical issues with Owners, Contractors, Architects, Engineers, and Specialty Consultants.
  • Supervise the production of architectural construction documents for multiple small renovation projects.
  • Lead a full-service architectural and engineering team to deliver quality documents, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
  • Develop discipline cost and work-hour budgets for each project and monitor project costs against budget schedules.
  • Oversee all correspondence and pertinent documents, ensuring accuracy and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Coordinate review and evaluation of contractor bids and work with Principal for award recommendations.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership in the absence of the Principal and assist with client billings.
