About The Position
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a $10M–$25M ground-up healthcare construction project in Redding, California. This is a high-impact role focused on project financial performance, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and healthcare compliance (OSHPD/HCAI preferred). The ideal candidate can step into an active project environment and drive execution from early stages through closeout.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
- Strong background in healthcare or large ground-up commercial projects
- Demonstrated expertise in project financial management and cost control
- Ability to step into an active project and hit the ground running
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Strong knowledge of contracts, change management, and subcontract administration
- Ability to travel as needed
Nice To Haves
- OSHPD/HCAI experience
- Experience with Sage 300, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field
- OSHA 30 certification
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of a complex healthcare project, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met
- Own project financials: job cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, pay applications, and SOV management
- Coordinate subcontractors, procurement, RFIs, and submittals
- Partner with the Superintendent to develop and maintain schedules in Microsoft Project
- Work closely with in-house architects, owners, and senior leadership
- Enforce site safety, quality control, and contract compliance
- Support project buyout, estimating, and closeout documentation
