About The Position

IRBY Construction Company, a Quanta Services Company, is looking for experienced Project Managers with a strong General Contracting background to join our team in Richland, MS. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years' Project Management experience in General Contracting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and adhering to rigorous safety standards.
  • Expertise in project planning, cost management, resource allocation, and scheduling with a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of construction safety protocols and compliance, with a track record of successfully implementing preventative safety measures.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Cost Control estimating software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, capable of managing unexpected challenges while keeping projects on track.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed to support project activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee full lifecycle construction projects—from planning and budgeting to execution and close-out—ensuring adherence to IRBY's high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Implement and support the integration of IRBY's Safety Management Program on every project, emphasizing proactive measures and continuous improvement.
  • Work with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits to the contracts for review by PM before processing.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings to monitor progress and enforce safety protocols and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently while maintaining project schedules and high-quality standards.
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and recordkeeping to maintain transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide feedback to improve Quality of all technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables for projects.
  • Facilitate Project Close-Out and Warranty administration.
