About The Position

Join our Project Management team at Baker Hughes, where we devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. You will take ownership for accomplishing project objectives by planning and executing project activities, coordinating across multiple businesses, and leading the project team to execute projects effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Project Planning
  • Possess interest and awareness of digital technology and its application in the Engineering field
  • Be able to show experience and understanding of design process management when delivering integrated system solutions
  • Have some previous experience of working in Quality Managed systems and companies
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate highly technical information in a clear, concise manner
  • Demonstrate good commercial awareness, excellent leadership skills and an adaptable working style

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, leading and developing the project execution process, from quotation request, through contract award to project closeout
  • Serving as the primary customer contact, developing relationships, and managing contracts effectively
  • Managing project risk, including change/supplier management, resolving issues, and ensuring quality of on-time and on-budget delivery
  • Reporting on progress, communicating internally and externally and knowledge-sharing across projects to ensure and inform best practice
  • Developing and maintaining a good working relationship with the Customer and its representatives
  • Ensuring that project schedule with milestones, manpower requirements and cost budgets are established
  • Leading and developing the internal project team in support of achieving the agreed project goals
  • Monitoring the project performance in a systematic way regarding quality, safety, progress, cost and mitigating actions if deviations occur
  • Supporting ongoing Business Development activities and providing support to tendering process
  • Managing internal Variation Orders and Customer instigated Change Orders, including their internal price clearance, submission and negotiation, implementation, and tracking
