About The Position

The Project Manager responsibilities include project scope, schedule and budget milestones. This position develops and manages project plans with R&D personnel utilizing JJE Project. The Project Manager ensures deadlines are met, communicates effectively to suppliers and assigns quality documentation to ensure the new model or project launch satisfies JJE Standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or similar (technical) field or relative experience
• Experience in new product development using project gates and/or similar project management methods
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of Supply Chain & Manufacturing Processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with diverse business teams.
• Strong computer skills
• Able to communicate effectively with people of all levels
• Ability to interpret drawings, bills of materials and develop finished goods
• Excellent organizational skills must be able to multitask
• Positive attitude
• Ability to be a team player willing to take charge or take direction

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Core Teams from existing internal and external resources to achieve defined objectives.
• Effectively communicate resource needs to responsible Manager with defined workload commitment.
• Track project lessons learned, cost savings initiatives and manage best practices.
• Report out on project status as needed.
• Plan & lead milestone reviews to business segment Leadership when applicable.
• Conduct status meetings with internal Core Team.
• Achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision.
• Promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change.
• Make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations.
