About The Position

Empowering Healthcare Through Expert Facility Leadership! Sodexo Facilities Solutions is seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to support our integrated facilities management team, focused on Projects and Construction at AtlantiCare Medical Center, a premier academic healthcare institution in the Atlantic City market. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of capital improvement projects, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance-related renovations within a complex healthcare environment. As part of Sodexo's on-site facilities leadership team, the Facilities Project Manager ensures that all work is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance-while aligning project delivery with the strategic goals of both AtlantiCare Medical Center and Sodexo.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external contractors in a dynamic, occupied facility
  • Experience developing project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation plans
  • Working knowledge of compliance codes and building regulations (e.g., Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and construction documentation systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction and renovation projects from concept through completion within a live healthcare environment
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, scopes, and documentation
  • Ensure project compliance with all healthcare codes, safety regulations, and applicable building standards
  • Oversee procurement of materials, contractor selection, and vendor performance
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control
  • Prepare and present project updates, forecasts, and status reports to clients and leadership
  • Collaborate with facilities leadership to align project planning with operational goals and capital strategies
  • Track project KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement
