Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in building construction, Engineering, or Business
  • A valid driver's license
  • 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of direct work experience may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • General Contractor's License
  • Professional Engineer License
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Managemnt)
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Must be comfortable in creating/writing project status reports shared with Senior Leadership

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all planning, engineering, procurement, and construction of multiple construction projects.
  • Develp project cost estimates and manage expenditures throught the life of the project.
  • Initiate and manage all contractual requirements for design, engineering, equipment and contractors for all assigned projects.
  • Manage project communications to include identifying project stakeholders, resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fasion and understanding how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Ensure accurate project reporting on cost, schedule, status, and critical items which may materially affect project performance or department or company operations.
  • Effectively manage project work activities of team members, contracted resources, or others, as assigned, in a manner that supports the project scope, company and department goals and standards.
