About The Position

This is a high-impact role overseeing and estimating heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The position focuses on earthwork, demolition, utilities, and specialty contracting, with opportunities to work on both public and private sector projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction project management and estimating
• Hands-on experience with earthwork, demolition, or underground utilities projects
• Ability to interpret and analyze construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Proficient with project management and estimating software
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of heavy civil construction projects, from bidding to closeout
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for public and private bids
• Review blueprints, specifications, and related documents to define scope and pricing
• Collaborate with field crews, subcontractors, and vendors for project execution
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and progress to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery
• Conduct site visits to assess risks and ensure operational success
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
