APEX is seeking a talented Project Manager & Estimator – Erosion Control to join our team in Brentwood, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business, developing client relationships, and producing accurate estimates while managing projects from initial client engagement through a seamless handoff to operations. This position blends sales, estimating, and project coordination in a fast-paced construction environment.

Requirements

AA/AS degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, estimating, or project management.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable delivering presentations to clients and groups.
Strong customer service mindset with accountability and deadline focus.

Nice To Haves

Previous construction-related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive new business development and grow existing client relationships.
Conduct site visits to assess project needs and conditions.
Develop detailed scopes of work, site maps, and accurate cost estimates.
Manage projects from initial client engagement through execution and handoff to operations.
Lead client communications, meetings, and pre-construction planning efforts.
Collaborate closely with operations, scheduling, and accounting teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Support estimating, scheduling, and project execution efforts as needed.
Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting or exceeding sales and performance goals.
Work in both office and field environments, including active construction job sites.
